Day One of Advent Calendars Christmas in July
Today marks the beginning of my Advent calendars Christmas in July. Last year, I didn’t have the chance to fully embrace the holiday season due to the passing of my mother in November. But now, with three Advent calendars in front of me, I am ready to dive into the Christmas spirit.
Celebrating Christmas in July
Despite the scorching heat outside, I have decked my house with all things Christmas from bells to necklaces, earrings, and even a festive shirt. The holiday season is here, and I am determined to make the most of it.

Reflection and Healing
In the midst of celebrating Christmas in July, I have been reflecting on the past few months. The visit from my dad has helped me come to terms with my mother’s passing. I am working on creating a scrapbook and a digital memory video to honor and celebrate her life.
Opening Advent Calendars
So we have my dad has Moms ashes when he is gone and we have him cremated. We will do a ceremony at that time to celebrate both of their lives. So today, though, I want to open these Advent calendars. Let me see if I can hopefully Im in there well lets see what I have first, so I cant even remember guys which Advent calendars I have because they have just been put to the side and they have not been touched. Since I got to get this one out, so give me just a minute its in this big old plastic. So this one says 20.
Discovering the 24 Days of Self Care Advent Calendar
I think Im going to have to turn this on. Ive got some extra lights around, which is good. Okay. This is self care. So it is the 24 days of self care Advent calendar and it looks like this guys. Let me see if, if it says who makes it I want to say I might have got this off like Sephora or something like that and of course I cant read the back so were just going to open it and find out so its very pretty inside Its got all of the um places that you kind of punch through to find number one is up at the top in the center Ill show it you in just a second, so it is up here. I dont know how good Im doing this guys, but Im trying okay. So that was day.

Unseen Sunscreen Super Goop
One lets see what I got. This is the Unseen sunscreen super goop unseen sunscreen. So if you guys dont know, I am blind, so I only see out of my right eye just a little bit. Sometimes I can use my machine to focus in on a product or words. I cannot read long words. So, like a paragraph its too much on my eyes: okay, so its an SF 40. So that is amazing, says water and sweatproof for 40 minutes. So this is like a little Deluxe type. One and Im excited about that cuz! Yes, it is really July, but we are doing Christmas in July and I am having a pool put in and its still not done yet, but of course were going to need tons of sunscreen right so lets see. That was the first one.
12 Days of Bath
Okay, we’re not going to do this one yet because this is the 12 days of bath. We will do this at the halfway point and start adding in this one and then guys.
Glossy Box
I think this one is the glossy box. Let’s see if I can hold it up for you. It looks like this, okay, so this is, I think, it’s full-size products in here. Maybe so we are going to find drawer one. This is an excellent. I got this. I know on a on a sale because um when I find Advent calendars on sale, even if they’re the year before I love to open them and get what’s inside of it.
Advent Calendars Galore!
So let’s look for number one, down at the bottom. Hoping you can see that, not sure, but let’s see what I got in number one. I love the glossy box Advent calendars. This one is by Milk Makeup. It says “scent space energize” for me, and many around me. So let’s see what this says about it.
I’m thinking it’s one of the scent sticks because I’ve had one before, but it was lavender. It was the relaxing one. I’m hoping this is the energized one, because I really wanted to try it. Okay, let’s see… right, I can read it says Milk Makeup on the glass bottle, but we’ll have to look on the box. Okay, so you pull off the little gold tab… oh, that smells good! That does smell very good, and definitely it is a different one than I have. I don’t remember having this scent, so I’ll say that it smells really good.
You only need a little bit of these scents. I mean, this is a great size bottle. If you liked it that much, you could go get another one. But, um, I get so many perfume samples in my boxes that I love to use what I have and not buy others. So, I’m going to smell good all day. So, that was item number one.
