Plodica Review

I didn’t like the scent of the Plodica cleanser, but it wasn’t strong enough to be annoying. It was a scent that I couldn’t really compare to anything I had smelled before. The cleanser wasn’t as foamy as I had anticipated, and its formula was not as creamy and dense as my preference. However, it still felt quite nice and wasn’t too drying. After using it, my skin did feel slightly tight, but not overly so. Even though I typically follow up with hydrating products, a simple moisturizer was able to alleviate that tight feeling.

One Thing Review

During my first use of the One Thing cleanser in the morning, I found the scent to be tolerable. However, upon using it again at night, the scent began to annoy me. Despite the fact that the scent only became noticeable when lathered, it was still off-putting. The unpleasant scent made me question whether I would ever purchase this product due to its olfactory issues. Additionally, the next day I experienced some breakouts, leading me to wonder if the cleanser was causing a reaction or if it was merely a sign of the product purging impurities from my skin.

Mizon Review

As for the Mizon moisturizer, I found it to be a simple yet effective product. During a phase of using a minimal skincare routine, the moisturizer was sufficient on its own to keep my skin feeling good. While it may not be as luxurious as some other moisturizers I have tried, it did the job of providing hydration without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Even though the cleanser left my skin feeling slightly tight, the Mizon moisturizer was able to counteract that sensation and leave my skin feeling comfortable.

Initial Reaction

The reaction can be redness irritation or minor breakouts. But the thing with purging is that you won’t know whether the reaction is due to purging or due to your skin not agreeing with the product. So all you have to do is play the waiting game. If it gets worse or itchy, then it most probably isn’t purging and you should stop using the product after another day and then the fourth day of use, my skin completely cleared up and was looking bright and healthy.

Changing Opinions

So I knew the product was working on me and that it was great for my skin, but the smell was still so annoying and I was certain I’d never buy it again. Fast forward to my current opinion from the neutral first impression to then disliking it. The first few days, due to the smell, my opinion now I just really love this product after using it for a few months. My skin never feels tight after using it anymore, and that only happened the first few days of use.

Scent and Sensitivity

I’ve also gotten used to the scent that I hate so bad. It doesn’t bother me anymore, it’s actually grown on me, but I still can’t point out or compare it to another scent. Will it be a purchase, probably because I genuinely just fell in love with this product and how good it keeps my skin looking and feeling. Final thoughts if you have extremely dry skin. Maybe this product won’t work well for you, but otherwise, I really recommend this product, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Plodica

Like me, okay, so moving on to the second item, the Santella soting cream by Plodica. In my opinion, this product sucks. I won’t go into detail about this because it was so bad for my skin so I’ll just go over it quickly. It has cantella and is marketed for sensitive skin, its also certified vegan, and it has ewg grade. So I was so excited for it and had High Hopes but nope. I don’t know what it was about this, but it just didn’t agree with my skin at all. It was the first product from the three that I had tested because it was the one I was mostly excited for.

One Thing

So here were my first impressions. The consistency surprised me as it’s a combo mix between gel and cream, and this is what gives this product its translucent color. I was expecting a more creamy texture, since they need this moisturizer, smoothing cream and buying a cream. I would expect the consistency to be creamy and not more gel, but whatever it doesn’t feel like a cream, but not as light as a gel, either it’s like a mix between the two and I didn’t necessarily like the feel of it. But I didn’t mind it: either a little went a long way covering face and neck, so that’s always good with creams. You can sometimes feel the moisturizer sit and soak into the skin, which I personally like, but this felt more like putting on a gel without the stickiness that gel moisturizer sometimes leave.

Plodica Moisturizer Review

There was no scent from the bottle and no scent was activated and put on the face either. It didn’t leave my skin feeling refreshed and nourished as a moisturizer should. After about 15 minutes, I went to check my skin and I saw my skin looking weird. Something was off, but it wasn’t an allergic reaction. There was some redness, but that’s it by the evening.

Unpleasant Reactions

My skin was looking completely off, but I used it again during my night skin routine and the next morning, I woke up with my skin looking really bad. I had redness breakouts and my pores were looking big. I’m not sure if I can say inflamed, but my pores were suddenly showing on my t-zone between my eyebrows and on the cheeks close to my nose.

Potential Issues

Some skin types have large pores naturally, but if your skin doesn’t have a lot of pore texture and suddenly the pores are looking swollen, then the product is not agreeing with you. I really wanted to love this product, so I hoped it was purging, although I was just being hopeful. Purging usually happens with cleansers or exfoliators like clay masks, because they’re pulling impurities from deep within the skin.

Plodica Moisturizer Review:

Once I saw the cleanser was working and everything after about two weeks. I gave this moisturizer another chance, as I thought it could be two products reacting with each other badly like this one thing moisturizer and the cleanser that I was using. But the same thing happened with the pla cleanser, so I just stopped using this moisturizer the same day.

I really wanted to love this product, so I even gave it a third chance later on. But again, the same thing happened. All over my skin got really bad. Every time I used this product – and I just stopped – I don’t know if this moisturizer is just a bad product or if it’s my skin and it’s not working together, but I’m disappointed since it’s marketed for all skin types and ideally for sensitive skin.

I have sensitive skin and this guy completely damaged it. Now I’m using it as a body moisturizer because no waste, and since the skin on our face is different than on our body. The fact that it’s okay as a body moisturizer just tells me that my skin was not the issue, but the product itself being a bad one for the face.

I obviously won’t purchase it again and I wouldn’t recommend it, but just in case you want to try it out or check it out for yourself, I will still put a link of it down below.

One Thing Cleanser Review:

Last but not least, is the Misan vegan eyeliner and there’s not much to say about this product other than it’s such a great eyeliner.

Mizon Vegan Eyeliner Review:

If you’re in need of a reliable and high-quality eyeliner, the Mizon vegan eyeliner is a fantastic choice. Its smooth application, long-lasting formula, and cruelty-free ingredients make it a must-have for any makeup lover. Whether you’re creating a subtle everyday look or a dramatic evening glam, this eyeliner will deliver the perfect finish every time.

Plodica Precision Liner

Precision liners are my go-to, especially if you’re doing wings, and the felt tip of the Plodica Precision Liner is top-notch. The outcome of your liner look is clean and sharp, with just the right amount of flexibility to create different styles. Whether you prefer a bold look or a natural thin line, this liner allows for versatile application.

It’s long-lasting and doesn’t smudge easily, even surviving accidental naps intact. I tested it in various conditions, including rain and busy days, and it passed with flying colors. The liner held up well with different wing lengths and styles, without cracking or fading throughout the day.

One slight downside, which is more a matter of personal preference, is that the liner has a slight shine once it dries. While I typically prefer a completely matte black liner, the quality and performance of the Plodica Precision Liner make it a minor issue. Overall, it’s an excellent product that I would repurchase without hesitation.

One Thing Felt Tip Liner

The One Thing Felt Tip Liner is another standout product with a high-quality felt tip that offers precision and control. Whether you’re creating short or long wings, this liner delivers a clean and defined look without any cracks or smudging throughout the day.

It works well over pencil liners or for creating bold gothic eyeliner looks. The longevity of the One Thing Felt Tip Liner is impressive, surviving various activities and conditions without fading or flaking. It’s a versatile option that can adapt to different styles while maintaining its performance.

Mizon Charcoal Black Eyeliner

The Mizon Charcoal Black Eyeliner boasts a deep, bold color that enhances your eye makeup. While marketed as a charcoal black shade, the liner does have a slight shine once it dries. This subtle sheen may not suit those who prefer a completely matte finish, but the product’s overall performance exceeds expectations.

It glides on smoothly over other liners and provides a lasting, smudge-proof finish. The Mizon Charcoal Black Eyeliner is ideal for accentuating your eyes with an intense and long-lasting look. Despite the minor shine issue, its quality and durability make it a worthwhile addition to your beauty collection.

Mizon

Mizon is a well-known K-Beauty brand that offers a wide range of skincare products. After trying the Plodica moisturizer for three days, my skin just got so bad that I had to stop. I went back to my previous routine to fix my skin. Once it was all good, I tested out the Pla cleanser, which I think helped to undo the damage that this moisturizer had done.
